The bridge is installed with four screws, which are included. We recommend a pilot hole diameter of 1.5mm. More about pilot holes can be found in our article.
It is known that nothing surpasses the tone of the 1952 Telecaster guitar. The reason is the simplicity of construction and a bridge with three saddles. However, there was one drawback: one saddle could adjust two strings at once, not separately, making it impossible to set the intonation for each string.
Wilkinson solved this issue. They did not change the thickness of the bridge's base plate or the dimensions of the saddles. However, they added a hole in the center of the saddle and a locking screw to this hole. After loosening it, the saddle can be rotated to adjust each string separately. Of course, after adjustment, the saddle must be locked again to behave like a Vintage original.
The feedback from owners of this bridge is only positive. The quality of the plating and the beauty of steel and brass next to each other are undeniable, not to mention the warm retro sound of a guitar modified in this way.
