Press-on mounting without any set screw.

Knob hole is 24 toothed knurl and is designed to fit US Inch potentiometers with 1/4 Inch (6.35mm) diameter shaft with 24 teeth knurl. If your potentiometers have shaft cut into two parts (cut taking 2 teeth away), you will likely count only 22 teeth. That is still the correct potentiometer for this knob.

We do not recommend it, but if you are in a jam (pun intended), you can push this knob by force onto metric potentiometer with 6mm diameter shaft with 18 teeth.
